Orkava PE12 short-length mooring ropes are made from 100% high-grade polyethylene in a floating 12-strand braided construction with double-twined monofilament strands. Available in 32, 36, 40, 44 and 48 mm diameters with cut lengths from 40 to 110 m, each rope is supplied with two spliced eyes. Breaking loads range from 102.0 to 219.7 kN depending on diameter, while the rope provides high shock absorption, strong wear resistance and low water absorption for inland navigation and mooring use.

Orkava PE12 is a floating mooring rope designed for inland navigation. It is made from 100% high-grade polyethylene and features a 12-strand braided construction with double-twined monofilament strands.

The rope behaves somewhat like steel wire without jamming and is suitable for use with greased bollards when tying up vessels. It provides high shock absorption and strong wear resistance. The hydrophobic polyethylene construction absorbs little water, helping the rope remain flexible in winter conditions.

Each short-length variant is supplied as a complete mooring rope with two spliced eyes. The ropes are neatly packed and finished, with diameter and length marked on the packaging.
