Clamcleat CL234 Fender / Large Loop Cleat is a nylon rope tensioner designed for ropes from 6 to 12 mm (1/4–7/16").
The cleat is rigged directly onto the rope and is particularly useful for hanging and positioning boat fenders. It stays on the rope, allowing the fender height to be adjusted quickly without introducing moving parts or separate metal fittings.
The tooth profile provides positive rope grip while still allowing easy release and re-adjustment. The cleat can also be rigged for a 2:1 purchase when additional tensioning advantage is required.
In addition to fender use, the CL234 can be used for sports nets, radio masts, tents, canvas structures, curtains, theatre banners and other rope-tensioning applications.
The range is available in black as CL234 and white as CL234W. Both versions are manufactured from outdoor-grade nylon and are corrosion proof.
