Optiparts EX975 – Optimist Blackgold Medium Mast Set with Complete Rigging
The Optiparts EX975 Blackgold Medium mast set is engineered as a versatile, high-performance rig suitable for the majority of Optimist sailors. As part of the advanced BLACKGOLD™ system, it offers an optimal balance between stiffness and flexibility, ensuring consistent performance across a wide range of conditions.
The set includes the Blackgold Medium mast (EX901), Blackgold Medium 40 mm boom (EX940), and Blackgold Medium 27 mm sprit (EX960). All components are constructed from aerospace-grade 7075 aluminium with a black hard anodized finish, delivering superior strength, durability, and resistance to wear.
The 27 mm Medium sprit provides approximately 20% greater stiffness compared to the 26.6 mm Lite version, making it suitable for sailors who require more direct power transfer and control.
The mast set is supplied with a complete rigging pack (EX13591), including premium low-stretch lines and high-quality hardware for immediate use in training or racing environments.
