Optiparts EX2137 is a premium Clamcleat CL211MK1AN alloy cleat designed for Laser® and ILCA® dinghies, commonly used in outhaul and traveler control systems where dependable rope locking and fast adjustment are essential.
Manufactured from high-strength marine alloy and finished with hard anodising, this cleat offers enhanced resistance to abrasion, corrosion, and long-term wear compared with standard coated finishes. The hard anodised surface is especially suitable for high-use control systems exposed to saltwater and repeated rope friction.
The toothed cleating profile provides secure holding of control lines under load while still allowing smooth release and fast trimming response. Designed for line diameters from 3 mm to 6 mm, it is ideal for precise dinghy sail control applications.
Its compact low-weight design minimizes rigging mass while maintaining excellent structural strength, making it well suited for both racing preparation and intensive fleet use.
