Optiparts EX2041 is a durable economy top cover designed for Laser® and ILCA® dinghies, offering practical day-to-day hull protection during outdoor storage and transport. Manufactured from strong and flexible solution-dyed PVC-coated polyester, this cover combines water resistance, UV protection, and durable handling performance at an economical price level.
The light grey material resists sunlight degradation while helping reflect heat buildup. Its slightly tented design allows spars to remain stored inside the dinghy beneath the cover, improving storage convenience without additional rig removal requirements.
Wide protective skirts extend around the hull edges to improve side coverage and shield vulnerable deck and gunwale areas. Reinforcement patches are added above the cleat plate and spar end contact zones to protect against abrasion in high-wear points.
