Optiparts EX2040 is a high-performance breathable top cover designed to protect Laser® and ILCA® dinghies during outdoor storage and transport. Manufactured from Moistureguard 2000, this premium marine fabric combines heavy-duty durability with advanced moisture management to protect the hull and deck in demanding sailing environments.
Moistureguard 2000 consists of robust 900D breathable polyester with an integrated polyurethane membrane, providing excellent water resistance while allowing trapped moisture vapor to escape. This breathable construction reduces condensation accumulation beneath the cover and helps minimize the risk of hull blistering.
The cover features a slightly tented profile, allowing spars to remain stored inside the boat beneath the cover, improving convenience during transport and storage. Its durable long-life construction makes it ideal for clubs, regatta sailors, and long-term dinghy protection use.
