Flojet Duplex II Diaphragm Pump With 50 PSI Bypass
The Flojet D1631H1311B is a Duplex II series diaphragm pump built for fluid handling tasks such as liquid transfer, spraying, cooling, circulation, filtration, and dispensing. It is configured for manual control (no switch) and uses an external bypass system to bypass flow internally when pressure exceeds the bypass setting.

Features
- External bypass that bypasses internally when pressure is over 50 PSI
- Self-priming up to 8 ft (2.4 m)
- Can run dry without damage
- Pump head can be rotated in 90 increments to simplify plumbing
- Designed to run at high pressures at low or high flow rates, and continues to run until power is manually turned off
Product Details
- Intended for intermittent duty cycles; it can be run continuously for short periods of time (higher duty cycle shortens expected pump life).
- For priming, keep the discharge line open to allow trapped air to escape and avoid airlock.
- Recommended inlet protection: a minimum 40 mesh strainer or filter in the inlet line.
- Tubing guidance: minimum 3/8 inch ID and at least 20 inches in length; avoid crimping or kinking.
- Check valve guidance: if installed, cracking pressure must be no more than 2 PSI (0.14 bar).
- Important limitations stated by the manufacturer: do not pump flammable fluids (gasoline, kerosene, fuel oil, etc.) and do not use in an explosive environment.
