The Vetus ZINKAS Zinc Shaft Collar Anodes are designed to provide reliable corrosion protection for shafts submerged in saltwater. These anodes feature a unique mounting design, allowing them to stay securely in place even as they erode. The anodes are equipped with bulges around the fastening holes to prevent loosening during erosion, ensuring continuous protection.

Each anode comes with a mount split into two halves for easy installation on the shaft. The anodes are suitable for use on boats in saltwater environments, but they are not recommended for high-speed vessels. This is because high-speed operation can cause turbulence, and significant erosion could lead to imbalance on the shaft. For these types of vessels, we recommend using a latch nut with an integrated Vetus anode to avoid such issues.

Vetus ZINKAS zinc shaft collar anodes are available in a range of sizes, suitable for various shaft diameters, from 25 mm to 60 mm. They come with fasteners for easy installation. The anodes are ideal for use in saltwater and provide long-lasting protection to prevent corrosion of the shaft and associated components.
