The Osculati 43.850.20 is a silver/silver chloride (Ag/AgCl) electrochemical monitoring probe designed for the ATOM TECNOSEAL cathodic protection monitoring system.
The probe is used for continuous monitoring of the electrochemical potential and cathodic protection condition of submerged and semi-submerged metallic appendages. The ATOM system can operate with from 1 to 6 measurement points and is suitable for vessels with hulls made from any material.
Compared with the pure zinc probe, the silver/silver chloride version is the premium long-life option. The Tecnoseal catalogue specifies several years of durability for this probe type.
