The Talamex Polyester Braided Lead Anchor Line is a ready-to-use anchor rope manufactured from braided polyester with an integrated lead core and a stainless steel thimble. The sinking polyester construction offers excellent abrasion resistance and controlled elasticity, while the lead section helps the anchor settle into the seabed more quickly and securely. Available in diameters from 10 to 16 mm, with breaking loads up to 3,500 daN, the range is suitable for boats up to approximately 12 metres.

Talamex Polyester Braided Lead Anchor Line with Stainless Steel Thimble – White/Black – 10 mm, 12 mm, 14 mm & 16 mm
The Talamex Polyester Braided Lead Anchor Line is supplied ready for immediate use and combines a braided polyester outer construction with an integrated lead core and a stainless steel thimble. The polyester rope naturally sinks, provides excellent abrasion resistance and sufficient elasticity to absorb loads created by wind, waves and boat movement during anchoring.
The integrated lead core improves anchoring performance by helping the anchor reach the seabed faster and bury itself more effectively, reducing the likelihood of dragging. Each anchor line is supplied on a compact rope coil for convenient storage onboard.

Talamex recommends selecting the anchor line length according to the anchoring conditions. Under normal circumstances, approximately five times the water depth is recommended, while in stronger winds this may be increased to around seven times the water depth. The diameter should be selected according to the size and displacement of the vessel.
