The Talamex Polyester 3-Strand Anchor Line is a ready-to-use anchor rope manufactured from durable 3-strand polyester and fitted with a stainless steel thimble. Polyester construction provides excellent abrasion resistance, naturally sinks in water, and offers controlled elasticity to absorb shock loads during anchoring. Available in Black, Navy, Blue and White, with 10 mm × 20 m and 12 mm × 30 m versions, the line is supplied on a compact rope coil and is suitable for boats up to approximately 10 m in length.

The Talamex Polyester 3-Strand Anchor Line is a ready-to-use anchoring rope manufactured from durable three-strand polyester and equipped with a stainless steel thimble for secure attachment to chain or anchor hardware. Polyester is an excellent material for anchor lines because it naturally sinks, offers high abrasion resistance and provides controlled elasticity to absorb shock loads generated by wind, waves and vessel movement.
The line is supplied on a compact rope coil and is available in several colour options, making it easy to match your boat or distinguish different anchor lines onboard.

Recommended Boat Size
- 10 mm line – vessels up to approximately 8 m and 2,000 kg displacement
- 12 mm line – vessels up to approximately 10 m and 4,000 kg displacement
Anchor Line Length Recommendation
The recommended anchor line length depends on water depth and weather conditions. Under normal conditions, approximately five times the water depth is recommended. In stronger winds (Force 5 and above), increasing the scope to approximately seven times the water depth provides improved holding performance.
