The Talamex Polyester Braided Anchor Line is a ready-to-use anchor rope manufactured from abrasion-resistant braided polyester and fitted with a stainless steel thimble. Unlike floating polypropylene ropes, polyester sinks naturally, making it well suited for anchoring while providing controlled elasticity to absorb wave and wind loads. The range includes 12 mm, 14 mm and 16 mm versions with breaking loads up to 3,500 daN, suitable for boats up to approximately 12 metres.

Talamex Polyester Braided Anchor Line with Stainless Steel Thimble – White/Black – 12 mm, 14 mm & 16 mm
The Talamex Polyester Braided Anchor Line is supplied ready for immediate use with a professionally finished eye and a stainless steel thimble. Manufactured from braided polyester, the rope naturally sinks in water, making it an excellent choice for anchoring applications. The construction combines high abrasion resistance with controlled stretch to absorb the loads generated by wind, waves and boat movement.
For optimal anchoring performance, the anchor line should generally be approximately five times the water depth. In stronger winds (Force 5 and above), increasing the scope to around seven times the water depth is recommended.
