Vetus CHSKAIGRB is a marine-grade skai imitation leather developed specifically for use on board. This vinyl is identical to the material used on all Vetus steering chairs, making it possible to perfectly match new seats or reupholster existing furniture in the same finish. It is also suitable for wall and interior panel coverings.
The material is maintenance-free, UV resistant, waterproof, and easy to clean with a wet cloth. It is based on a single jersey fabric with PVC coating and has a weight of 640 g/m², providing durability and comfort in demanding marine environments.

Marine Skai – Information About Glue
Different types of vinyl glue can be used depending on the application area and the surface to which the vinyl will be bonded. Below are two suggested adhesive solutions.
Casco Flex 3442
- Can be used with Vetus Marine Skai
- Compatibility with the surface must be checked before use
- Apply with a notched trowel
- Press the vinyl using a roller tool or plastic trowel
- Recommended temperature: 18–22 °C
- Recommended humidity: 55–65%
- Surface must be clean and dry
- Primer is recommended depending on the substrate
3M Spray Adhesive
- Can be used with Vetus Marine Skai
- Compatibility with the surface must be checked before use
- Best suited for smaller jobs or hard-to-reach areas
- Apply adhesive to both surfaces
- Wait a few minutes before bonding
- Press the vinyl firmly onto the surface
