The Vetus PCG3040 is a premium gas-assisted seat pedestal designed for maximum comfort and adjustability in demanding marine environments. It is ideal for helm and navigator seating, combining smooth vertical adjustment with full 360° swivel and a locking seat slide.
Height adjustment is operated via an integrated gas spring and handle, allowing effortless positioning between 300 and 400 mm. The slide mechanism provides 135 mm of fore-aft travel and locks securely in one of seven positions, ensuring stable seating while underway.
The pedestal supports both R and S hole patterns, offering broad compatibility with a wide range of seat models. Always ensure that the selected seat matches one of these patterns before installation.
Certified under ABYC H-31 (July 2020), the PCG3040 meets type A0 requirements for operator use at any vessel speed. It features a locking system capable of withstanding 205 Nm of torque, making it suitable for high-load marine applications.
