For optimal protection in saltwater or brackish water conditions, zinc anodes are highly recommended. Cathodic protection provided by anodes is essential for safeguarding all metal components underwater, whether on steel, wooden, fiberglass, or aluminum hulls. The Vetus zinc anodes adhere to the highest standards, meeting U.S. Mil-A-18001 K specifications to ensure reliable performance. Each anode is streamlined and can be mounted using specially designed studs for steel hulls or through-hull bolts for fiberglass and wooden boats.
