The Vetus XHSH is a dedicated exhaust temperature sensor designed for use with Vetus XHI series alarm instruments. It installs directly into the exhaust hose to provide accurate temperature monitoring within water-injected marine exhaust systems. Positioned ideally just after the engine exhaust elbow, the sensor detects abnormal temperature rise caused by reduced cooling water flow, blockages or failures in the exhaust system.
