Vetus WLOCKLT50 - Gooseneck LT50 50mm
This gooseneck is specifically designed for exhaust hoses with an inner diameter of Ø 40, 45.51, or 60 mm. It is compatible with engines featuring an exhaust manifold of 57mm diameter, allowing the use of a 60mm Vetus exhaust hose along with all other 60mm components without any issues. The Vetus gooseneck elevates the exhaust hose above the waterline, preventing water from backfilling the exhaust system. When the engine is turned off, any cooling water in the exhaust hose drains to the lowest point of the system, typically where the waterlock is located.
To minimize the amount of water in the system, it's recommended to install the gooseneck as close as possible to the waterlock. Alternatively, it can be directly attached to the transom exhaust connection (TRC50R) if necessary.
