The Vetus BULFL1640 Bullflex 16 Flexible Coupling is a robust marine-grade coupling designed for propulsion systems using a 40 mm propeller shaft. It provides exceptional torsional vibration damping, smooth torque transfer, and excellent propeller shaft alignment. The highly flexible pre-tensioned rubber element effectively absorbs torsional and axial vibrations generated by the engine, ensuring quiet, low-maintenance, and backlash-free operation. Capable of compensating for misalignments up to 2°, the coupling also provides galvanic isolation between the engine and shaft, protecting against electrolysis and premature wear.
