The VETUS delivery program includes a comprehensive range of hydraulic bow thrusters, consisting of seven models, all equipped with a standard hydraulic motor and connections for hydraulic hoses. These hydraulic motors are powered by hydraulic pumps, and if already present on board, the existing hydraulic pump and associated hydraulic tank can typically be utilized to drive the bow thruster motor, simplifying installation. For vessels with engines like the VETUS DEUTZ, which include a Power Take-Off (P.T.O.) connection for hydraulic pumps, installation is even more straightforward. VETUS offers not only the pump and tank but also the necessary control and regulation units for a complete solution. Designed to accommodate various vessel configurations, these hydraulic bow and stern thrusters can be seamlessly integrated with polyester, steel, or aluminum tunnels. The Vetus Bow thruster 160 kgf model is specifically recommended for boats ranging from 16 to 22 meters in size, featuring a tunnel diameter of 250 mm. Its unique propeller blade design not only ensures exceptional performance but also minimizes cavitation noise, making it one of the quietest thrusters available on the market.
