Product Details
- Ignition protection: Meets USCG electrical standards for ignition protection on gasoline-powered vessels.
- Installation: Mount in a dry location; the motor is not waterproof and must not be submerged. A cool mounting location can extend motor life.
- Orientation: Can be mounted in any position; avoid allowing drips from port connections to contact the motor.
- Flow direction: Pump head rotates 180 degrees to change the direction of flow.
- Priming note: Suction lines must be airtight to maintain self-priming capability.
- Operating limits: Do not run the pump dry; the pumped liquid lubricates the impeller. The pump cannot run against a closed outlet such as a shutoff nozzle.
