Operating Instructions:
- The pump will self-prime at low or high speeds. Ensure that the scoop and inlet line are clear, and all connections are airtight for optimal performance.
- Do not run the pump dry for more than 30 seconds, as lack of water flow can damage the impeller.
- To drain the pump, simply loosen the end cover screws and remove excess water.
Service Instructions:
- To replace the impeller, remove the end cover and gasket, and pull the impeller out by grasping the hub or blades with pliers.
- Install the new impeller, gasket, and end cover. Apply a light coating of grease in the impeller bore to assist with priming during dry startup.
- Always use the correct Jabsco gasket (standard thickness of 0.010"). Using a thicker or thinner gasket may cause damage to the impeller.
Installation Instructions:
- Engage the shaft with the drive tang and ensure the flange is seated squarely on the mounting surface.
- Secure the pump to the engine with bolts, and connect the inlet and outlet fittings using pipe compound to seal the threads for a tight, leak-free connection.
