The Jabsco 50410-1401 engine cooling pump is a bronze flexible-impeller assembly built for dependable marine cooling duty, featuring CSM full lip sealing with a Buna N lip seal, a neoprene impeller, and 1-1/4 inch hose barb ports for straightforward hose integration. Designed to mount directly inside the crankshaft pulley on Chevrolet small block (305 and 350 C.I.) and 454 C.I. Chevrolet block engines, it can run in either rotational direction and self-primes at low or high speeds with dry suction lifts up to 3 m (10 ft) and up to 8 m (25 ft) when wetted. Built for high-speed operation up to 5200 RPM, it supports cleaner installations by eliminating brackets, belts, and pulleys, while requiring airtight suction lines and limiting dry running to no more than 30 seconds to protect the impeller.

Product Details
- Crank pulley mounted drive design: uses a rotating bearing housing bolted directly to the crankshaft pulley.
- Anti-rotation requirement: the pump body must be prevented from rotating using a torque arm designed and installed to avoid side load on the bearing.
- Priming and transfer capability: combines the priming feature of positive displacement pumps with the general transfer ability of centrifugal pumps.
- Fluid handling: can pump thin or viscous liquids and can handle more solids in suspension than other types of rotary pumps.
- Impeller lubrication: the neoprene impeller depends on the pumped liquid for lubrication; do not run dry for more than 30 seconds.
- System guidance: when installed near maximum speed, inlet plumbing must minimize vacuum at the pump inlet; ensure the intake is free from obstructions.
Features
- Bronze construction for durability in demanding marine environments
- CSM full lip sealing with a Buna N lip seal to reduce leak risk
- Bidirectional operation for flexible installation
- Self-priming performance for cleaner, safer installations
