Product Details
- Construction: Bronze pump head with a heavy-duty, continuous rated motor.
- Dry running: Stated as ten minutes dry running, and also stated as dry running for twenty minutes after initial use.
- Priming guidance: Initial priming must not last longer than 30 seconds before fluid enters the pump head to provide impeller lubrication.
- Installation: May be mounted in any position without loss of efficiency; if mounted vertically, the pump head down is suggested.
- Flow path notes: The dry running feature means the pump is not reversible; the discharge is the vertical port. Motor shaft rotation determines intake and discharge port location.
- System notes: No leaks or blockages should be in the system; inlet leaks will degrade self-priming capability.
- Strainers: Do not restrict inlet pipework; strainers are not generally recommended.
Features
- Self-priming capability for reliable starts
