Jabsco 17830-0012 Reversible Oil Change Pump Unit
The Jabsco 17830-0012 is a reversible flexible-impeller oil change pump designed for marine applications. Installed near the engine and permanently plumbed to the oil pan, it supports routine oil extraction and, using its integral reversing switch, can reverse flow direction to pump a measured amount of new oil back into the engine.

- Designed to be installed near a vessel's engine and permanently plumbed to the engine oil pan
- Flow direction can be changed using the integral reversing switch to support both draining and refilling
- Connection to the engine should be controlled by the provided 3/8 inch ball valve to guard against accidental oil discharge
- The pump may be positioned up to three feet above the oil source; for best operation, mount slightly above the highest oil level to be changed
- Do not allow the pump to run dry for more than about thirty seconds to help prevent impeller damage
