The Vetus CANR CAN repeater is engineered to expand the capabilities of marine CAN-line installations. With a single unit, the recommended maximum CAN-line length can be increased from 40 m to 80 m (130 to 260 feet). For longer vessels or more complex communication layouts, a second or third CANR may be added to further reinforce signal quality. This offers complete flexibility in designing and extending onboard communication networks.
The repeater is fully compatible with V-CAN, NMEA2000 and J1939 systems, ensuring strong and continuous data transfer across mixed-protocol environments.
