The Vetus ZWBKIT provides a complete and reliable solution for supplying cooling and lubrication water to Vetus shaft seals and stern glands by connecting them directly to the engine’s raw water cooling circuit. This system ensures a steady water flow to the shaft assembly, maintaining optimal lubrication, preventing overheating, and extending the life of the shaft seal and bearing.

The kit eliminates the need for a dedicated seacock or through-hull water scoop by tapping a controlled amount of water from the engine’s existing cooling circuit. It is particularly useful for new Vetus ZWB shaft seal installations or when upgrading from traditional stuffing box systems. The synthetic T-piece is designed for easy integration into a 19 mm (¾") raw water supply hose and features a 10 mm hose tail to feed the shaft seal assembly.

Ideally, the T-piece should be installed above the waterline, in the hose section supplying the anti-syphon air vent device, ensuring consistent and air-free water feed. The kit is compatible with bronze, GRP, and steel stern tubes and comes with all required components for immediate installation.
