Aquadrive CVB30.30 – Moduline B30 Anti-Vibration CV Shaft System
The Aquadrive CVB30.30 Moduline B30 is a heavy-duty marine propulsion driveline system designed to isolate the engine from propeller forces and vibrations. By transferring propeller thrust through a dedicated thrust bearing mounted on the vessel foundation, the system protects the gearbox and significantly improves onboard comfort and drivetrain reliability.
The Aquadrive system integrates a constant velocity (CV) shaft, a thrust bearing assembly, and a gearbox adapter flange. The CV shaft contains two universal joints connected by a floating shaft that allows axial and radial movement while maintaining smooth torque transmission even when the engine moves on its mounts.
The Moduline modular design simplifies installation and engine alignment while reducing vibration transfer to the hull. The modular construction allows flexible installation configurations suitable for a wide range of propulsion systems.
Main Components
- Constant velocity shaft (CV joint assembly)
- Thrust bearing with rubber suspension
- Gearbox adapter flange
- Shaft sleeve connection

Propeller Shaft Options
B30 standard version supports the following propeller shaft diameters:
- 40 mm
- 1 3/4"
- 45 mm
- 50 mm
- 2"
- 2 1/4"
- 60 mm
- 2 1/2"

- 70 mm
Notes
Rated application examples are based on optimal operating conditions with approximately 2° joint angle for each CV joint. If the operating angle exceeds 2°, the maximum permitted power should be reduced by approximately 8–9% for each additional degree.
The maximum allowable joint angle typically ranges between 5° and 8°, depending on propeller shaft speed.
