Michigan Wheel Aqualube phenolic cutlass bearings are designed for water-lubricated marine propulsion systems, ensuring smooth and reliable shaft operation. The combination of a phenolic outer shell and nitrile rubber lining provides excellent resistance to abrasion, corrosion, and wear in harsh marine environments.
Aqualube bearings use a hydrodynamic lubrication principle, where water forms a thin film between the shaft and bearing surface, eliminating direct contact and reducing friction and noise during operation.
