DELOT & Cie TWINFAST® Two-Piece Rope Cutter AISI 316L – 22 mm to 50 mm & 1-1/2" Shaft
The DELOT & Cie TWINFAST® rope cutter is a two-piece shaft-mounted cutting system designed to protect marine propulsion transmissions from ropes, cables, and debris. Manufactured from AISI 316L stainless steel, it offers excellent resistance to corrosion and durability in marine environments.
Thanks to its two-part design, the TWINFAST® cutter can be installed and removed without disassembling the propeller, making it particularly suitable for installations with limited space between the propeller and stern tube or shaft support.
Developed and patented by DELOT & Cie and manufactured in France, the TWINFAST® system is engineered for efficient cutting of traditional textile ropes as well as modern high-performance fibers such as Kevlar and Dyneema.

In the case of contact with metal cable, the cutter may be effective depending on engine power and cable diameter. However, cable use can damage the cutting teeth, and replacement of the rope cutter is recommended after such use to maintain optimal performance.
