The Vetus GD1000 is a 12/24 V gas and carbon monoxide detector supplied with a combined sensor capable of detecting propane, butane, methane, hydrogen, and carbon monoxide. Designed for continuous or intermittent monitoring depending on the connected solenoid valve position, it includes acoustic and LED alarms, manual fan and valve control functions, and three 1 A switched outputs for safety devices. The control panel measures 85 × 85 mm with a 40 mm built-in depth, and the sensor size is 35 × 26 × 62 mm with a 5 m cable.

Vetus GD1000 Gas & Carbon Monoxide Detector 12/24V with Combined Sensor
The Vetus GD1000 is a versatile marine gas detection system engineered to identify a wide range of combustible gases—including propane, butane, methane, and hydrogen—while also detecting poisonous carbon monoxide. Supplied with a single combined sensor, the system provides continuous protection in enclosed areas and can be expanded with an optional second sensor for monitoring an additional location. Designed specifically for marine safety, the unit integrates automatic alarms, manual controls, and relay outputs for connected ventilation or shutoff systems.
If installed with a remote solenoid-operated gas valve, the detector supports both continuous and intermittent monitoring depending on the valve's position. In the event of hazardous gas levels, the GD1000 activates an acoustic alarm and illuminates the warning LED. Additional switched outputs (1 A each) allow automatic activation of an extraction fan, an external alarm, or a gas shutoff valve. A fan can also be operated manually using the dedicated panel button. A low supply voltage condition activates a warning alarm, and an integrated test function verifies the correct operation of sensors and all connected devices. The sensor includes a service-life LED, indicating when replacement is required.
