Viadana recess-fit single blocks and footblocks are designed for sailing installations where a compact and clean flush-mounted solution is required on a mast or deck. Their recessed configuration allows the block to be integrated into the surrounding structure while keeping the rope path controlled and unobtrusive.
The blocks are manufactured from stainless steel and fitted with a single nylon sheave for use with textile halyards. Three sizes are available to suit different rope diameters and rigging requirements: 22 mm, 28 mm and 55 mm sheaves for ropes up to 6 mm, 8 mm and 12 mm respectively.
Breaking loads range from 700 to 800 kg depending on the selected size. The smallest version, Viadana article 10.59, corresponds to Osculati 55.038.06 and FNI product number 7878017. This model is intended for ropes up to 6 mm and has a 700 kg breaking load, 100 kg maximum working load and an overall height of 43 mm.
