SeaSure 01.16 25 mm Chrome-Plated Brass Sheave General Purpose High-Load Block
SeaSure 01.16 is a 25 mm general purpose block designed for medium- to high-load applications with slow-running ropes. The block is intended to carry higher loads than standard Mini blocks and is commonly used with Dyneema, Spectra and Kevlar lines.
The block uses a chrome-plated brass sheave with a plain chrome-plated brass bearing running on stainless steel. Its body is manufactured from electropolished 316 stainless steel and incorporates a hollow rivet.
The stainless steel side plates help prevent highly abrasive ropes from cutting into the block structure. The block is suitable for ropes up to 5 mm in diameter.
The SeaSure 01.16 has a maximum breaking strength (MBS) of 950 kg and a safe working load (SWL) of 475 kg. Typical applications include halyards, outhauls, kicking straps, cunninghams, traveller control lines and leech lines.
