The Optiparts EX902-NP BLACKGOLD Lite mast is a high-performance Optimist racing mast developed specifically for lightweight sailors under 40 kg. Compared to the standard BLACKGOLD Power mast, the Lite version is approximately 20% more flexible, allowing sailors to depower the rig more effectively in stronger wind conditions while maintaining improved sail shape when combined with a 40 mm boom.
Manufactured from aerospace-grade 7075 T6 aluminium with a heavy-duty black hard anodized finish, the mast delivers excellent durability, corrosion resistance, and controlled flex characteristics. The BLACKGOLD rig range has been widely used at major I.O.D.A international championships worldwide.
This NP version is supplied without rigging pack, making it suitable as a replacement mast or for sailors already equipped with compatible BLACKGOLD rigging components.
