Optiparts EX1450 - Optimist Padded Hiking Straps Soft – 7 cm UV-Resistant Hiking Strap Set
Optiparts EX1450 is a soft padded hiking strap developed for Optimist dinghies, providing reliable foot support and enhanced comfort during extended hiking sessions. The strap is manufactured from strong polyester webbing and partially covered with highly wear-resistant UV-resistant protective cloth for long service life in marine conditions.
The internal foam plate padding does not absorb water, helping maintain low weight even in wet conditions. Its stitched-through reinforced construction ensures structural strength, while the aft end is fitted with a pressed ring and sewn flat to prevent twisting during use.
Integrated front loops allow attachment of shockcord for lifting the strap into easy access position, while the open front ends provide flexible mounting options using either rope or fixing plate systems.
This model is ideal for club, training, and racing Optimist sailors seeking durable and comfortable hiking support.
