The Optiparts EX1061M Trisail is a reduced-size Optimist sail designed for safe and controlled sailing in strong wind conditions. With approximately half the surface area of a standard Optimist sail, it significantly reduces power, making it easier to handle for lighter or less experienced sailors.
This sail allows even the smallest helmsmen to continue sailing when wind conditions become challenging, improving safety and confidence during training sessions.
The Trisail can be used with a standard Optimist sleeve mast and boom, provided that a 40 cm mast extender (EX10122) is installed to achieve the correct rig geometry.
