The Flojet D3631E5011 is a Duplex II series diaphragm pump driven by a 115V AC motor and equipped with a pressure switch for demand operation. Product Details
- Demand operation is considered intermittent duty; higher duty cycles reduce expected pump life.
- Mount in a dry, adequately ventilated area. For outdoor mounting, shield the pump from water, dust, sunlight, and washdown spray.
- Do not use to pump flammable fluids (including gasoline, kerosene, fuel oil) and do not use in an explosive environment.
- For priming, keep the discharge line open to allow trapped air to escape and avoid airlock.
- Use flexible hose compatible with the fluid and of the correct pressure rating; tubing should be minimum 3/8 inch ID and at least 20 inches long. Do not crimp or kink.
- Use care with sealers and tape; debris entering the pump can inhibit valve action and affect priming or shutoff.
- For freezing conditions, the pump must be liquid-free or winterized with appropriate antifreeze chemicals.
- Electrical wiring guidance provided: on 115V AC models, black is live/common, white is neutral, and green/yellow is ground. Disconnect power before installation and follow applicable electrical and safety codes.
