The Vetus EDKCSET E-LINE Keel Cooling Set is a complete closed-loop cooling solution specifically designed for Vetus E-LINE inboard electric propulsion motors. It is particularly recommended for vessels operating in saltwater or muddy waters, where conventional open water-cooling systems may experience blockage or corrosion. By using a dedicated keel cooler and circulation pump, the EDKCSET efficiently transfers heat from the motor and controller to the surrounding water through a sealed system filled with VOC (Vetus Organic Coolant).

The system includes the ELINEKC keel cooler, constructed from G-CuSn10Zn bronze alloy, offering superior resistance to seawater corrosion and long-term reliability. It provides a cooling capacity suitable for motors up to approximately 12 kW at a water temperature of 25 °C and a coolant flow rate of 6 liters per minute. The included EIP40SET brushless 12 V DC circulation pump ensures quiet, energy-efficient coolant flow and draws only 8 W (0.67 A at 12 V) in operation. This compact and reliable pump is designed for continuous operation but should not be run dry.
