The Blue Sea 7601 - M-Series Automatic Charging Relay (M-ACR) is specifically designed to manage the charging current from alternators up to 65 amps, which are commonly found on most outboard motors and many inboard engines. This compact and versatile device ensures that both battery banks are efficiently charged while protecting sensitive electronics in the system. It features Start Isolation (SI), which temporarily isolates the house loads from the engine circuit during engine cranking. This helps protect the house circuit from voltage sags and spikes that may occur when starting the engine.

With a waterproof rating of IP67, the M-ACR is built to withstand temporary immersion in water, making it ideal for use in marine environments. It has a wide voltage range, supporting both 12V DC and 24V DC systems. The relay offers three mounting options: surface, rear, or panel mount, and it is also available as a module in a custom 360 panel. The unit is designed with a snap-on insulating cover and an LED indicator to show the ACR status. Additionally, the terminal stud size and torque requirements are optimized to ensure reliable connections, with a maximum cable size of 1/0 AWG, making it adaptable to various installations.
