The Blue Sea 7089 is a 285-Series panel mount circuit breaker rated at 150A for DC systems up to 48V DC. It is engineered as a drop-in replacement for 185-Series circuit breakers and integrates both switching and circuit protection into a single compact device.
This breaker uses a thermally responsive bi-metal blade trip mechanism with manual reset and trip-free operation, meaning it cannot be held closed after a fault trip. A visible reset lever clearly indicates the open condition. The housing is ignition protected and weather resistant, suitable for marine and gasoline engine compartment installations.
