The Blue Sea 7142 is a 187-Series surface mount circuit breaker rated at 80A for systems up to 48V DC. It combines switching and circuit protection in a single waterproof unit designed for marine and vehicle DC electrical installations.
This breaker uses a thermally responsive bi-metal blade and a trip-free manual reset lever that cannot be forced ON during a fault condition. The large lever provides clear visual status indication and supports vertical or horizontal orientation. The ignition-protected design allows safe installation aboard gasoline powered boats.
