The Blue Sea 3002 HD-Series Heavy Duty Selector Battery Switch offers exceptional performance for managing isolated battery banks on boats. This versatile switch allows you to choose between isolating battery banks or combining them to all loads. The make-before-break contact design ensures that there is no power interruption when switching between battery banks, making it a reliable choice for continuous use. It is ignition-protected, ensuring safe installation aboard gasoline-powered boats. Additionally, its case design allows for both surface and rear panel mounting, providing installation flexibility.
Designed for high power handling, the Blue Sea 3002 features a continuous rating of 500A, an intermittent rating of 700A (for 5 minutes), and a cranking rating of 1600A for 30 seconds, making it perfect for marine applications. It accepts two 4/0 AWG cables, and its durable construction includes tinned copper studs and a 1/2" (M12) terminal stud size. The switch is also designed with easy-to-use mounting holes that accept 1/4" (M6) screws. With a weight of just 1.25lb (0.57kg), it is both lightweight and powerful.
