BEP 720-MDO-EP – Remotely Activated Emergency Parallel Switch, 12/24V, 500A Rating, 10-Min Emergency Parallel
The BEP 720-MDO-EP is a remotely activated emergency parallel switch designed to provide a high-current parallel connection for emergency starting of large engines. The emergency parallel function is operated via a momentary button on the dash, which will parallel the batteries for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, the switch turns off to reduce the risk of flattening start batteries if a parallel switch is inadvertently left on.
Designed for longevity in the marine environment, the switch uses tinned copper conductors, stainless steel nuts, and high temperature, fibre reinforced plastics. The unit is ignition protected, provides On/Off switching operation, and may be recessed or surface mounted.
