The Bynolyt Searanger III 7x50 (00831010) are professional marine binoculars designed exclusively for Technautic and built for rough-swell deck lookout, coastal lanes, vessel traffic awareness and fast bearing reference. The optical system uses 7x magnification with 50 mm Fully Multi-Coated (FMC) objectives finished in Ruby anti-reflective multi-coating to manage intense water glare and improve contrast at daylight, spray and twilight. BaK-4 prism glass class reduces internal reflection loss and maintains imaging clarity even at dusk and under spray shifts. Nitrogen-filled sealed barrels (N₂) eliminate fogging during rapid humidity and temperature transitions.
Both objective and ocular lenses are finished in a hydrophobic coating that works like a lotus leaf: droplets bead off and do not adhere, ensuring clarity under spray and rain. Large ocular barrels and enlarged glove-friendly central controls enhance stability on a moving or vibrating deck. Integrated stabilized Suunto illuminated compass enables stable real-time bearings for night navigation readiness and target reference. Twist-up rubber eyecups support 23 mm usable eye relief for comfortable use with prescription or (sun)glasses without manual target refocus.
