The PARAFIL cable is made from continuous Terylene yarn with a white alkathene outer sheath and is designed for guardrail applications. It is available in Ø7 mm and Ø9 mm diameters, both supplied in 100 m coils. The Ø7 mm version has a breaking load of 510 kg and weighs 37 g/m, while the Ø9 mm version has a breaking load of 1015 kg and weighs 55 g/m. The cable combines strength close to steel with lower weight, high electrical insulation and maintenance-free construction.

PARAFIL Guardrail Cable with White Alkathene Sheath – Ø7 / Ø9 mm, 100 m Coil
The PARAFIL cable is composed of continuous Terylene yarn covered with a white alkathene sheath. It is intended for guardrail installations and provides strength close to that of steel while remaining lighter, highly insulating and maintenance-free.
Two cable diameters are available: Ø7 mm and Ø9 mm. Both versions are supplied in 100 m coils, with different breaking loads and weights per metre.
