Vetus ALU25C - Hull Anode Type 25 Aluminium Excluding Connection Kit
The Vetus ALU25C Hull Anode is a high-quality aluminium anode specifically designed to protect vessels that mostly operate in inland (fresh) waters. Aluminium anodes are ideal for these conditions as they provide better cathodic protection due to the higher potential difference between aluminium and other metals, which is crucial in fresh water environments. The Vetus ALU25C is designed for transom mounting and is compatible with steel, wooden, fiberglass, and aluminium hulls, ensuring broad application for different types of boats and ships.
This anode is made from a durable aluminium-indium-zinc alloy (Mil - A - 24779 SH), which provides excellent corrosion protection in fresh water. It features a streamlined rectangular design and is designed to be mounted using specially made studs for steel hulls or through-hull bolts for fiberglass and wooden hulls. The anode is supplied with a protective paint layer on the mounting side to avoid any damage to the boat's paintwork during installation. The connection kit for the anode is not included, and you will need to purchase one separately. It is recommended to use one connection kit per anode type.
Key Features:
- Made from an aluminium-indium-zinc alloy (Mil - A - 24779 SH) for superior corrosion resistance
