The Maxwell RC12-11 is a stainless steel vertical automatic rope/chain hydraulic windlass with drum from the Maxwell RC12 Series, supplied under article number Vetus P104967. This model is equipped with a 190 TDC chainwheel with anti-clockwise (ACW) rotation and an integrated drum, engineered for high-load anchoring applications requiring reliable hydraulic performance and flexible line handling.
The hydraulic drive provides smooth, controlled operation during anchor deployment and retrieval. The windlass incorporates an automatic rope/chain handling system to ensure efficient transition between rope and chain. A ratcheted mechanism lever prevents backwinding during emergency manual recovery of the anchor rode, enhancing operational safety under heavy load conditions.
