Product Description
Next generation EPIRB designed in compliance with IMO MSC471 requirements and integrated into the global GMDSS maritime safety system. The device combines AIS functionality with COSPAS-SARSAT emergency distress signalling, increasing detection and location accuracy for rescue operations.
Positioning is based on GNSS technology using both Galileo and GPS satellite systems. Emergency alerts are transmitted via the MEOSAR satellite network, enabling early and reliable detection. AIS transmission also allows nearby vessels equipped with AIS receivers to immediately see the distress position, improving response time.
The unit features a high-intensity strobe light, fast-activation electronic heating system with Zero Warm Up technology, and a quick self-test function for operational verification in seconds. Designed for reliability in extreme maritime conditions.
