Product Description
Next generation EPIRB developed according to IMO MSC471 requirements and integrated into the GMDSS global maritime safety system. The device includes AIS functionality, allowing distress position data to be shared not only with rescue coordination centres but also with AIS-equipped vessels and receivers nearby.
Positioning is based on GNSS technology using both Galileo and GPS satellite systems. Emergency distress signals are transmitted through the COSPAS-SARSAT system and supported by the MEOSAR satellite constellation, enabling early detection of distress positions before full signal reception at coordination centres.
The unit includes a high-intensity strobe light, Zero Warm Up instant activation electronics, and a fast self-test function for quick operational checks. Designed for reliable performance in maritime emergency conditions and compliant with IMO MSC471 regulations.
