The Osculati 50.931.94 Isotherm ITC+ Cooling Unit is a marine refrigeration system engineered for efficient onboard fridge and freezer applications in yachts, sailboats, and motorboats. The system combines a ventilated evaporator box with an electronically controlled compressor designed to optimize refrigeration performance and onboard energy consumption.
The ITC electronic management system reduces current draw by approximately 25-30% through intelligent compressor control and Soft Start operation. The system automatically manages Fast Cooling and Over Cooling functions according to available onboard electrical power.
When the boat engine is running and excess electrical current is detected, the ITC system automatically increases compressor operation to maximum speed for rapid cold accumulation. When the engine is off, compressor operation is reduced to the minimum required to maintain the selected refrigeration temperature, improving battery efficiency and reducing unnecessary power consumption.
The cooling unit includes a digital control panel for precise temperature adjustment and a battery protection system with three selectable levels. The NIDEC (Secop) BD50F compressor operates on universal 12/24V DC systems with air cooling and incorporates a Click-On fixing system for simplified installation.
