The Osculati 50.931.92 Isotherm ITC+ Cooling Unit is a marine refrigeration system engineered for efficient onboard fridge and freezer applications in yachts, sailboats, and motorboats. The kit combines a ventilated evaporator box with an advanced electronically controlled compressor system designed to optimize cooling performance and energy efficiency.
The ITC electronic control system reduces current draw by approximately 25-30% through intelligent compressor management and Soft Start operation. The system automatically manages Fast Cooling and Over Cooling functions according to onboard electrical conditions.
When the boat engine is running and excess electrical current is detected, the ITC system automatically increases compressor speed to maximum operation for rapid cold accumulation. When the engine is off, compressor operation is reduced to the minimum required to maintain the selected temperature, optimizing onboard battery consumption.
The refrigeration unit includes a digital control panel for temperature adjustment and battery protection with three selectable protection levels. The NIDEC (Secop) BD35F compressor operates on universal 12/24V DC systems with air cooling and incorporates a Click-On fixing system for simplified installation.
The system is suitable for refrigerator applications up to 100 liters and freezer installations up to 35 liters with operating temperature range from +2°C to -6°C.
